Dear pilots and guests!

Opening ceremony will be held infront of Hotel „Fontana" on Saturday July 11th and it starts at 19:30.
The Mayor of Buzet and the Organizers will welcome all pilots and guest.
For entertainment there will be a short concert of local male choir Klapa „Boškarin" from Hum (The smallest town in the world), and some music.
For pilots and guests there will be buffet with food and drinks, and also an offer of domestic Istrian products typical for Buzet and its surrounding area such as truffles, wines, brandies, olive oil, cakes, etc. to see, taste and buy.
There will be a video wall placed in front of the Hotel „Fontana" for those who are interested in PWC to follow the progress of the competition throughout the week.

About Klapa singing:

The klapa music is a form of a cappella singing that first appeared in Croatia during the 1960's. The word klapa translates as "a group of people" (male, female or mixed) and traces its roots to liturgical church singing centuries ago. The motifs in general celebrate love, wine (grapes), country (homeland) and sea. Main elements of the music are harmony and melody, with rhythm very rarely being very important.
A klapa group consists of a first tenor, a second tenor, a baritone, and a bass. It is possible to double all the voices apart from the first tenor. Although klapa is an a cappella music, on occasion it is possible to add a gentle guitar and a mandolin.
Klapa singing is fairly new (under 50 years), but still very much alive. Many young people from Dalmatia and Istria treasure klapa and sing it regularly when going out eating/drinking or even working, as their ancestors did. This music has gained popularity among mainstream audiences in coastal regions of Croatia,and some of Croatian Klapas made new interpretations of old, and popular new Croatian and international songs.
Members of Klapa „Boškarin" come from Buzet and its area. The first gathering of amateur singers was about 4 years ago in Hum, small place near Buzet which helds epithet of The smallest town in the world. After that Klapa began with performances in Istria, Croatia and even internationally, as guests and participants of many Festivals.

With PWC-a advising we made recreational flying possible and wellcome all pilots (as before) to our site ;)

The Organizing Team of PWC Buzet made some important conclusions at the meeting held on June 22.

• All pilots who wish to have a mobile SIM card from Croatian mobile provider can get them in HQ. Not coded mobile phone is required.
• All pilots who will fly to airports in or near Croatia can contact this Agencies and arrange a transportation to Buzet:

Starting place Raspadalica is a private property and starting place Brgud is a part of Nature Park Učka, so it is very important to respect all rules and warnings given by the Organizer in relation with these two take-offs.

• Saturday June 11 is free training day. For those pilots who will arrive befor saturday, starting fee on Raspadalica take-off is 3€.
• Pilots who wish to fly during these days have to contact Organizers on e-mail: Ova e-mail adresa je zaštićena od spam robota, nije vidljiva ako ste isključili JavaScript untill July 5 and confirm their arrival. Also, they have to have their own transportation and pay starting fee 3€.
• Team leaders and other non competing participants pay 130€ to the organizer at the registration. This payment includes: t-shirt, one dinner/party for all participants, lunch packages and transportation to take-off/transportation back to HQ during competition. All others who wish to use this services can contact the Organizer at the HQ during competition. The price for all or only for some services will be determined at the HQ.
